Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
At DevDock, your privacy is our priority. Because DevDock is a desktop application that runs entirely on your local machine, we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, codebase information, or database credentials.
1. Data Collection
DevDock collects zero telemetry by default. We do not track your usage patterns, the projects you work on, or any of your local environment variables. Your data stays on your machine.
2. Auto-Updates
The DevDock desktop application periodically checks our GitHub repository to see if a new version is available. This process sends a standard HTTP GET request to the GitHub API, which includes your IP address and standard user-agent string as required by the protocol. We do not store this information.
3. Third-Party Integrations
If you choose to use DevDock plugins that interact with third-party APIs (e.g., AWS, Vercel, or Docker Hub), those plugins will communicate directly with those services. Please review the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect to DevDock.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
5. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at support@tashanto.com or open an issue on our GitHub repository.
